We are Ro, a mission-driven healthcare technology company reinventing the way the healthcare system works. The Associate Director of Medical Affairs will focus on Clinical Quality & Patient Safety & will report to our VP of Medical Affairs. You will work closely with Product, Medical Operations, Pharmacy & Data teams to ensure that Ro delivers the safest & highest quality care to our members.
Who are you? That's a great question. You're passionate about delivering safe, high-quality healthcare & harnessing technology to do so. You have incredible attention to detail & a strong background using data analysis to measure safety & quality in medical practice. You are a self-starter. You are a problem solver. You are not afraid of thinking outside of the box. You have analyzed complex healthcare data sets & worked with a network of service providers to improve the care they deliver. You have experience being a healthcare provider & are looking for a new way to help patients outside of the traditional healthcare setting. You're great at cooperating with team members from different areas of the business, & you thrive on diving into data & building scorecards. You're flexible, creative, & solutions-oriented. You are an excellent communicator, especially when it involved translating data analysis into an action plan.
We don't expect you to know everything about medicine or telemedicine, but we do expect you to be ready to dive in & learn.
As an Associate Director of Medical Affairs, your focus will be on Quality & Safety, but you have the opportunity to work with other teams across the organization on initiatives aside from Quality & Safety. Quality is defined as clinical effectiveness, member safety & member experience, which intersect to produce better healthcare delivery for Ro members. The focus of this position is the quality of care through a safety lens.
Above all, you will be an advocate for delivering the safest patient care.
At Ro, you will be integral to building technology that helps individuals become a healthier version of themselves, turn physicians into better healthcare professionals, & power our increasingly complex medical network.
