Squarespace is looking for an Analyst to grow experimentation for our paid media program.
You will power our marketing investment strategy & optimization by running experiments, creating processes & plans & implementing tooling to promote a test-and-learn culture & ensure consistency, thoughtfulness & scalability across teams.
You have hands-on experience framing hypotheses & outcomes, designing & analyzing different types of experiments, making clear recommendations & creating repeatable processes for direct response & brand channels.
This is a hybrid role working from our New York City headquarters (3 days per week). You will report to the Manager of our Marketing Services Analytics & Operations team.
You'll Get To
- Partner with in-house Marketing teams to translate business questions into clear hypotheses & measurable outcomes
- Develop several types of experiments across direct response & brand media channels to measure incrementality & optimize performance
- Analyze results & translate into to relevant recommendations
- Build frameworks, plans, & dashboards to grow experimentation & reporting consistency across channels & teams.
- Partner with Data Science, Engineering & other Analysts to develop repeatable frameworks, processes & tooling to grow testing across channels
- Monitor latest industry best practices & tools to refine our approach
- Socialize approaches & insights to promote a test-and-learn culture
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics or data science role
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing & analyzing experiments across paid media channels (e.g., search, social, programmatic, & brand)
- Foundation in statistical methods such A/B testing, causal inference & variance analysis
- Experience building repeatable experimentation processes through documentation, frameworks or tooling
- Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets & Python or R for analysis; familiarity with dbt
- Experience creating dashboards in tools like Looker or Tableau
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical & non-technical audiences
- Passion for experimentation, media measurement & continuous learning

Cash Compensation Range: $85,500 - $138,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
