Warby Parker is looking for a dynamic & curious Consumer Insights Associate Manager to help us better understand Warby Parkers present & future customers. As a member of our Consumer Insights & Research team, youll help conduct primary quantitative & qualitative researchincluding custom surveys, brand trackers, interviews, & focus groupsto understand the behaviors & attitudes of consumers in our industry. Additionally, you will monitor third-party research to identify shifts in the competitive landscape & industry trends that may impact our business. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on research experience who is excited to see these insights translated into action across the company. This role will report to the Director of Consumer Insights & Research & sit within the broader Warby Parker Strategy team.
What youll do:
- Manage a quarterly Brand Tracker to provide insight into Warby Parkers brand health & growth
- Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, & shifts in consumer behavior to provide strategic recommendations & identify new opportunities for growth
- Serve as the expert on the Warby Parker customer, managing reports that help our stakeholders stay up-to-date on key characteristics, metrics, & trends
- Field quantitative & qualitative research to support strategic initiatives across the company
- Represent the voice of the customer, blending data-driven insights with qualitative sources to promote a customer-centric culture
Who you are:
- Backed by 3+ years of experience in a consumer or market research role
- The owner of a bachelors degree (preferably in economics, marketing, psychology, or a similar field)
- Equipped with hands-on experience planning & conducting quantitative research studies, including survey programming, data analysis, & presentation building
- Experienced in analyzing large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets & preparing research presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides
- A clear, empathetic communicator (both in person & in writing) with experience gathering & sharing insights from data
- A collaborative problem-solver & a resourceful learner who picks up new skills quickly
- Intellectually curious & eager to learn, with a no-task-too-small approach
- Comfortable tackling problems head-on & adapting to shifting priorities
- Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
