Were looking for a Strategic Agency Sales Manager to join our team & support our global Agency network clients by demonstrating the value of Similarweb to create, cultivate, & develop accounts & increase our market share with leading agency networks & holding groups.

As a Sales Manager, you will be expected to take a consultative approach to all collaboration with our global Big-Six agency partners & assist in finding new business applications globally for our data sets & innovative solutions. 

You will set the tone for our outreach & communication with some of the largest agency networks in the world (and their hundreds of subsidiaries), plan & build the roadmap for expanding the scope of our relationships, & be the face & driver behind all new business initiatives. 

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the Strategic Agency team means your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Taking a customer-centric & value-driven approach to the entire sales cycle from prospecting, discovery, presentation & negotiation
  • Keeping up to date with the development & enhancements of our suite of SaaS solutions, innovative big data offerings & the business value they provide agencies 
  • Collaborating with your internal partners to design & implement pipeline generation strategies 
  • Consistently follow client & industry news, while adapting accordingly to developments
  • Manage relationships with decision-makers & executives across the client organization - collaborate with some of the best brains in the business! 

This is the perfect job for someone who has:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing consultative sales processes with complex prospect organizations
  • Has a demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets for high-end SaaS sales
  • Experience presenting data-driven insights & trends via data-visualization tools 
  • A strong understanding of digital media (ad technologies, online marketing) & e-commerce strategies & business models
  • Ability to persuade, lead, & confidently resolve customer objections, while navigating complex evaluation & procurement processes
  • Experience presenting to senior management of prospective organizations
  • Outbound lead generation experience 
  • Experience working with media / digital agency networks and/or enterprise customers based in NA, EMEA, & APAC (highly preferred) 

About the team

Within this role, you will be part of a Strategic Pod, working in collaboration with Sales Development Representatives, Account Managers & Client Success Strategists, to develop a long-term growth & expansion strategy with some of the biggest Agency networks in the world. The Pods unique structure allows individuals to share ideas & build strategies while each person brings in their unique perspective & experience.

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $86,560 to $168,410 + benefits including: medical, dental & vision insurance, 401K plan, potential equity, employee stock purchase plan & paid sick & parental leave.

In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the companys sales incentive plan, with a maximum target OTE of up to $336,930, depending upon the final terms of employment & achievement of established targets. 

Individual compensation is based upon several factors, including qualifications & relevant experience.

The base salary range above is for the New York City metro area, & could vary for candidates in other locations.
