We are currently seeking an experienced leader to join our Procurement Leadership team as Senior Director of Procurement - Packaging Sourcing & Engineering.  This person will partner with the VP of Procurement in cultivating a high performing organization, & will be responsible for leading our packaging sourcing & packaging engineering teams. You will be responsible for driving sourcing strategy, design innovation, & product testing & evaluation. The Sr. Director will have the opportunity to both build new functions & manage our established teams as we continue to grow & scale our volume & product range. 

You will... 

• Serve as key member of the Procurement Leadership team
• Grow a high performing team, providing leadership, coaching & developmental support to Directors & Associate Directors of packaging sourcing & packaging engineering
• Cultivate a strong team culture consistent with HelloFreshs core values & drive sourcing & technical best practices throughout your organization. 
• Work closely with senior leadership to develop a sourcing & product innovation roadmap that supports company goals. Set & oversee the achievement of OKRs on cost, growth & innovation, risk management, supplier performance, & team development & enablement.
• Work closely with our packaging engineering team to drive continuous improvement in packaging quality & design, & drive best practices in product evaluation & testing.
• Continue to scale our supplier network & manage capacity to meet the demand of HelloFreshs multi-brand growth strategy.
• Partner cross functionally & work closely with our supplier network to identify & deliver on opportunities to drive improved customer experience through both existing product optimization & new product development.

• A strong communicator who can easily communicate complex solutions cross functionally & to upper management

You have...

• 15 years of experience in Procurement, with relevant experience in the packaging industry
• A degree in engineering or a related field
• Packaging manufacturing or design experience is preferred
• Flexibility to travel (up to 25%)
• Fluent in Microsoft Office & Google Suite applications
