The Squarespace Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of FP&A responsibilities within the Investments team. This role involves analyzing results, understanding key drivers, & providing clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.

You will report to the Director of FP&A (Investments) & be a trusted thought partner across the business.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City (3 days/week in-office).

Youll Get To

• Lead financial planning, analysis, & forecasting for our Customer Operations organization, including all related headcount & operational expenses.
• Own & analyze credit card & payment processing fees across the business, identifying drivers, trends, & opportunities to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• Proactively identify risks & opportunities & communicate their potential business impact clearly & succinctly.
• Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials that effectively communicates financial projections, drivers, business performance, risks & opportunities to leadership
• Deliver clear & actionable insights to leadership not just the what, but the why & the what now.
• Lead the preparation of the monthly close, forecast, & annual planning processes, & related financial reviews with partners.
• Support & improve financial models & reporting tools to enable better decision-making.

Who Were Looking For 

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in tech or a high-growth environment.
• A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, ramps quickly, & takes initiative to solve problems before theyre assigned.
• Demonstrated ability to go beyond reporting to deliver insights & recommendations.
• Strong understanding of P&L components, especially operating & transaction-related costs.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday Adaptive, Looker) is a plus.
• Clear communicator who can influence non-finance stakeholders & present to leadership.
• Detail-oriented with strong business judgment, curiosity, & a high personal standard for work quality.

Cash Compensation Range: $105,500 - $170,200 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
