Senior Analyst, Deal Strategy & Monetization

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical & collaborative Senior Deal Strategy & Monetization Analyst rockstar who is looking to join a top-notch GTM organization at a fast moving, SaaS machine data analytics company. The Deal Strategy & Monetization (DSM) team sits within the larger Global Sales Operations organization & works collaboratively across sales, customer success, legal & finance teams to drive deals to closure.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on this highly visible role where you will be responsible for providing essential guidance & support to our Account Executives & Customer Success Managers & ensuring that deals are priced, structured & negotiated in accordance with Sumo Logics policies & processes. You will own critical aspects of deal strategy & structuring, pricing, quote creation, & contract review. The role also provides the opportunity to work very closely with senior executives including the CRO, CAO & VP of Sales Operations to ensure completion of deals.

Remote Role: Working EAST COAST Time Zone. East Coast Location Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Function as the point of contact & subject matter expert to the Sales organization on all matters related to pricing / deal economics & structure
  • Lead the day-to-day aspects of pricing & commercial terms approvals in driving deals to closure
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product & Operations on non-standard transactions
  • Assist Sales Operations management team with process improvements, special projects, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field is a plus
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a pricing, deal desk or sales operations / analytics role
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of SaaS subscription models & revenue recognition
  • Strong emotional intelligence / maturity & ability to develop relationships & work cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders
  • Team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment & ensure deals get closed, especially at quarter end
    Extremely strong verbal & written communication skills

Sumo Logic Privacy Policy

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $120,000 . Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but arent limited to) role level, skills & competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, & experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, & equity awards.
