Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate receives in product for days production, checks environmental condition of delivery trucks to ensure they are up to HF standards, processes BOLs (Bill of Lading) & POs. The Warehouse Associate also picks product from inventory as needed, delivers items to appropriate production area & makes adjustments in computer. The Warehouse Associate prepares completed product for transport by outside carriers.
Shifts: Friday to Monday - 7pm to 5:30am or Thursday to Sunday - 7pm to 5:30am
You will...
- Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas in a safe & timely manner.
- Process received goods & supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, & safety of received goods by following the companys defined procedures to inspect both the truck & materials
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Assist in the shipping & warehouse areas as needed
- Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
- Enforce & follow all safety, GMP & SQF policies/procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, & safety of received goods by following the companys defined procedures to ensure FIFO protocols are followed.
- Ensure the proper stocking of all production materials needed for the production line on a daily basis.
- Shrink wraps pallets either manually or utilizing automation in preparation of shipment.
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
You are...
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Are able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and/or tools.
- Able to regularly lift & move up to 25 pounds, & occasionally lift & move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision & peripheral vision.
- Able to communicate, both verbally & in writing in English, effectively & professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Are able stand, walk, stoop, reach & lift for a minimum of 10 to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to work in a cold prep area kept at 35 degrees
At a minimum, you have
- Ability to read & write English, follow verbal instructions & use simple math.
- Licensed forklift truck operator, preferable Crown or Raymond stand-up lift.
- Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to count & have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division & fractions).
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Highschool diploma or GED

- Starting pay rate is $16.50/hr. You will receive $1/hr increase after your first 30 days of employment, plus $1.50/hr night differential for PM shifts & $1/hr for weekend shifts starting on Saturday & Sunday
