Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as dusting, wiping, sanitizing, sweeping, & vacuuming floors to maintain a clean & sanitary office environment.
• Empty trash & recycling bins & dispose of waste when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness & orderliness in lounge areas, ensuring tables, chairs, furniture, & other surfaces are clean & properly arranged.
• Maintain cleanliness & orderliness in conference rooms & break areas, ensuring tables, chairs, & other surfaces are clean & properly arranged.
• Maintain cleanliness & orderliness in kitchens & cafe areas, ensuring tables, chairs, equipment, & other surfaces are clean & properly arranged.
• Clean glass surfaces & office equipment, such as glass partitions, copiers, & printers.
• Monitor & restock cleaning supplies & report any shortages or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Monitor & restock kitchen snacks & beverages & report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Monitor & restock meeting room supplies & report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup/breakdown & arranging furniture, equipment, catering, & supplies for meetings, conferences, & other events.
• Adhere to the company's security policies & report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with the facilities team to promptly address any maintenance or repair needs.
• Track & manage inventory of supplies.

Qualifications:

• Able to work in our New York City Headquarters Monday - Friday from 3 PM to midnight.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial work in an office setting required.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, materials, & equipment.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines & procedures related to cleaning & maintenance.
• Ability to work independently & efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail & the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent time management & organizational skills.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina & the ability to perform repetitive tasks & operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if required.
• Must be available to work from 5 pm to 1 am, Monday through Thursday, noon to 8 pm, on Friday.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for record-keeping & inventory management.
• Attention to detail & accuracy in maintaining digital records.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt role being paid an hourly wage/40 hours a week. 

Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour. 

Note: Actual salary offered may vary within this range based on  education, knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, internal equity, & geographic location, among other factors. The actual compensation, if offered a position, will be based on these factors.
