Squarespace is seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to join our team. You will create processes & provide critical analyses & insights to help inform business decision-making. As a member of the Finance team, you will also develop relationships across the organization & communicate information in a concise way, driving processes & outcomes. You will partner directly with our Head of Domains to explore a range of business questions & identify areas for growth, ultimately helping the company to achieve its financial & operational goals through data & sophisticated analysis.

You will be expected to present insights to senior leadership & drive alignment & decisions across the organization. You will dig into challenges - from routine operations, to forecasting & planning, to special projects - to connecting the dots & drawing valuable insights for the business. You will also develop relationships with the leaders on your partner teams, & you should be comfortable presenting financial information across the company in a clear & concise way.

You will report to the Director of Revenue FP&A & be based in our New York City office.

You'll Get To...

  • Act as the strategic financial partner to the Domains business
  • Own the monthly/quarterly revenue forecasting & reporting processes, building executive level presentations, analyzing results, & building forward-looking business trends
  • Identify, build, & maintain core business KPIs that drive financial performance of the business
  • Apply judgment & financial insights to develop recommendations & influence decision-making related to new initiatives, products, pricing, & other business opportunities.
  • Lead the annual planning process, partnering with business teams to understand strategic initiatives, growth levers, & planned investments.
  • Build financial models, run scenario analysis & provide data analytics to identify areas of risk & opportunity
  • Create & deliver key financial & operational metrics in a timely manner to support management & board reporting
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes & propose improvements to streamline the use of key business metrics
  • Manage cross functional projects to drive company goals & objectives

Who We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis with a focus on topline
  • Experience preparing & presenting financial analysis, forecasting, & recommendations to executives & senior-level stakeholders that drive business results
  • Experience developing & driving financial budgeting & forecasting
  • Analytical & modeling skills with the ability to synthesize & analyze data to create useful information & concise analysis
  • Keen eye for detail while able to present macro trends to the highest levels of management

Cash Compensation Range: $148,500 - $239,200 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
