Description: The Lead Warehouse Associate will be responsible for assisting in the receiving of freight,  breakdown of pallets, scanning, & sortation of boxes by driver routes, loading of vehicles, & helping to direct traffic in the facility. Theyll report to the Delivery Station Supervisor & be responsible for completing all sort activities safely within the shift. Occasionally the Lead Warehouse Associate will be required to provide on-shift leadership by overseeing the logistics package sort operations & coordinating the team on site (all Hub activities & volume, including the unloading, sorting, & allocation of freight for drivers). 

Responsibilities 

You will... 

• Work within a team of associates to safely receive & sort all volume for the shift
• Ensures that incoming volume is directed to the correct destination on time 
• Communicate delays or any issues to the Sort Supervisor 
• Attend pre-sort meetings, working towards daily goals & safe operations 
• Performing the TSR process to ensure trailers are safely docked to the building
• Contribute to results on safety, productivity, cost, quality, & on-time delivery 
• Use our internal technology & systems to conduct operations 
• Assist in the warehouse areas as needed 
• Enforce & follow all safety, GMP, & SQF policies/procedures.
• Ability to meet productivity targets
• Have good attendance & punctuality
• Occasionally youll be asked to coordinate a team of Warehouse Associates, use HelloFresh tech & systems to make operational decisions & ensure a culture of safety for operations inside facilities, ensure the security of all HelloFresh assets (hub facilities, vehicles, inventory)
• Occasionally youll be asked to perform dispatching functions for drivers

• Comfortable using computers & scanning devices

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Are able to use hands to move packages & operate electronic devices 
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs & participate in a highly physical job through standing, walking, crouching, pulling, & pushing 
• Are able to stand, walk, stoop, reach, & lift for a minimum of 10 to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
• Comfortable operating a manual & electric pallet jack (training will be provided)
  
  

You have... 

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to read & write English, follow verbal instructions, & use simple math 
• Must be at least 22 years old & legally authorized to work in the US & possess & maintain a valid driver's license

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, MVR, background, & criminal checks)
• Ability to use scanning devices & other basic computer skills preferred 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision & peripheral vision
• Basic proficiency in manipulating data & reporting
• Meet schedules/timelines & organize your own work. Can reliably work alternative & flexible work schedules including nights, Sundays, & Holidays
