We're looking for a Partner Solutions Architect who is passionate about understanding & supporting those partners as they integrate with our products.

As a Partner Solutions Architect you will collaborate closely with the Business Development team, collectively responsible for driving new partnerships & identifying growth opportunities for the company. You will support partners from initial pitching to post-launch by consulting on how to best integrate, & ensuring a smooth integration, launch & post-launch experience.

We're looking for someone who will enjoy working with our technical product suite & contributing to the team's goals through a mix of technical consultations, technical support, writing & maintaining API documentation, & generally supporting third-party stakeholders in all of their technical needs. You will also liaise internally with the product-specific & Platform technical teams to ensure a depth of knowledge of the tooling & to provide feedback from our external stakeholders.

You will report directly to the Senior Director, Business Development & be based out of our NYC headquarters.

You'll Get To...

• Advise business partners on integration best practices with the Squarespace APIs & developer tools
• Help partners troubleshoot advanced issues across Squarespace's extensibility suite through technical consultations, email, & persistent chats
• Manage the integration & certification process with the partner, determining when an integration may go live
• Advocate on behalf of the partner developer community by sharing partner developer feedback to product & engineering to influence roadmap decisions.
• Resolve technical issues by filing, managing & evaluating bugs & improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Security, Legal, Marketing, Creative, as well as Product & Engineering
• Help maintain developer facing technical documentation on our Developer Portal

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years of Software Development background working with engineering teams, Jira-based workflows & documentation maintenance
• Development experience in Java, Spring, & Git (JavaScript & React a plus)
• Deep understanding of APIs (REST, OAuth), microservices, & databases
• Experience integrating & troubleshooting APIs
• Experience looking into unfamiliar code to gain insight into underlying issues
• Experience describing the structure, characteristics, & behavior of software to assorted team members who consume it
• A desire to interface with partners & act as their guide to all things technical at Squarespace
• Proactive communicator with the ability to navigate ambiguity & collaborate across diverse stakeholders, both internal & external

Cash Compensation Range: $105,000 - $190,500 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
