As a QA Tester based in our New York office, you will ensure the quality of a new publisher product in BETA. In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying bugs, verifying functionality, & supporting the overall user experience. Youll also conduct research to uncover edge cases, inconsistencies, & usability issuesensuring the product is stable, reliable, & intuitive for end users. This is a great opportunity for someone who is meticulous, curious & takes pride in delivering high-quality results.
Note: this is a full-time, temporary position for approximately three months.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in journalism, editorial, content strategy, or a related field
- Strong editorial judgment with a keen eye for accuracy, tone, & narrative flow
- Familiarity with news standards, fact-checking practices, & ethical content review
- Ability to write clear, structured feedback & collaborate with cross-functional teams
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience reviewing or editing AI-generated content or working with LLMs
How youll make an impact:
- Review AI-generated content for accuracy, clarity, tone, bias, & formatting; document issues like hallucinations or irrelevant responses
- Work with product & engineering teams to define quality benchmarks for AI-generated content
- Conduct comparative testing of prompt variations to assess response quality & guide prompt engineering improvements
- Help develop & maintain test sets & evaluation frameworks for consistent LLM output assessment
- Log & categorize bugs, quality issues, & edge cases using internal tools & workflows
- Contribute feedback & ideas to improve the products editorial & user experience
