About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Technology Program Management professional to collaborate with the Engineering team to drive complex programs for iCapital's most critical technology deliverables. This team is a new function for iCapital, bringing best in class program management practices for internal consulting style engagements. iCapital is looking for an individual who can help shape the culture & develop the working model for the practice. The role offers an opportunity to engage in a diverse set of programs spanning green field software development, new vendor tools, technology infrastructure, machine learning, data & analytics practices, & technology innovation lab endeavors. The role does not involve hands on testing or coding.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to craft & communicate scope, progress against milestones, & risk mitigation strategies spanning multiple engineering teams.
- Partner with engineers to solve problems, define solutions, bring clarity, & visibility to complex implementations.
- Provide leadership while partnering with the Technology management team to define go forward strategies.
- Drive programs to a successful conclusion.
- Engage on a select set of broader open-ended programs aimed at continuous improvement for
the overall Technology organization.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in a related field
- Prior experience in at least two of three areas spanning technical program management, the financial services industry, & consulting for technology and/or financial services
- Degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration is a plus
- PMP certification is a plus
- Able to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view & be able to build consensus
- Able to think strategically & connect the dots within the big picture, while also feeling comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
- Familiar with relational database concepts & modeling practices
- Familiar with cloud-based technologies like K8S, AWS, etc.
- Knowledge of release management & CICD deployment workflow processes
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to foster relationships, & promote team collaboration
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills & attention to detail
- Able to work both collaboratively & independently in a cross-functional environment
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $20,000 to $145,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
