The Squarespace Finance team is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to help ensure accuracy & efficiency across our financial operations. You will manage vendor relationships, improve payment processes, & help maintain the integrity of our systems through automation & continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, & other partners to support daily operations & process enhancements.

This is a hybrid role, working from our NYC office 2-3 days per week. You will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

You'll Get To...

• Process & review invoices within an electronic, purchase orderbacked system while ensuring accuracy & controlling expenses
• Respond to vendor & internal inquiries
• Complete reconciliations for credit cards, bank accounts, merchant deposits, & intercompany billing
• Support month-end close, reporting needs, & continuous improvement plans
• Help refine Accounts Payable workflows & identify opportunities for automation

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in Accounts Payable
• Strong Excel skills & exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with NetSuite, Kyriba, or Coupa is a plus
• Understanding of basic accounting principles; international exposure a plus
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships, manage multiple priorities, & identify challenges

Cash Compensation Range: $64,500 - $103,500 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors. 

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
