Squarespace is the engine behind millions of brands. We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the product marketing strategy that helps customers to be successful across our suite of business tools.  

In this role, you will drive product marketing for our Commerce & Client Engagement efforts, from positioning & messaging to go to market execution & post launch adoption. This role is perfectly suited to a PMM that is deeply customer centric, comfortable operating at both a strategic & executional level, & experienced partnering closely with Product, Growth, Marketing, & Sales to bring products to market & drive adoption at scale.

This role is based in our headquarters in New York & reports to the Associate Director of Product Marketing.

Youll Get To...

  • Lead GTM & execution for some of our most exciting Commerce & Client Engagement initiatives
  • Translate complex products into intuitive, benefit driven value propositions for non technical entrepreneurs
  • Lead market research & competitive analysis to understand where the commerce & marketing tools landscape is heading & serve as a primary advocate for merchant needs within product teams
  • Partner with Growth & Analytics teams to identify friction across the funnel & design strategies that drive adoption
  • Act as the strategic owner for product launches, supporting cross functional alignment & a cohesive customer first narrative across all channels
  • Develop foundational messaging frameworks that define how Squarespace wins in a crowded commerce & SaaS marketing ecosystem

Who Were Looking For 

  • 7+ years of high impact product marketing experience with significant time spent in Commerce, Fintech, or Marketing SaaS
  • Proven ability to distill complex product ecosystems into clear & compelling narratives that resonate with customers
  • Experience leading zero to one product launches, bringing entirely new products or capabilities to market from early definition through launch & adoption
  • Strong understanding of the merchant journey from first sale through scaling operations & the technical & operational challenges that come with growth
  • Highly data driven with the ability to uncover the why behind the numbers & use insights to influence product & go to market strategy
  • Strong project management & cross functional leadership skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast moving product organization
  • Deep curiosity & passion for how people buy & sell online with a relentless focus on improving the end to end user experience

Cash Compensation Range: $126,500 - $203,550 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
