SoundCloud is seeking a talented & versatile senior brand & interactive designer with interstellar conceptual & visual design skills to join our creative team. As a key member, you will be crucial in shaping & enhancing our brand identity through compelling visual designs & interactive experiences. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in brand design, motion design, 3D design, typography, illustration, & graphic design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions that align with our brand strategy & elevate our visual presence across various digital touchpoints. All the while, you can conceive a solution & independently take it to a final polished creative. You can work on diverse projects ranging from marketing & product design to advertising. Responsibilities:

  • Developed & executed brand concepts, designs, & layouts for various product collateral. 
  • Create visually stunning & engaging motion graphics & animations for brand videos, digital advertisements, & interactive media. 
  • Designed & produced 3D assets, including graphic & interactive visualisations for the product, environments, & animations, to enhance our brand & product.
  • Apply solid typographic skills to create visually appealing, cohesive designs that convey the brand's messaging & values. 
  • Produce high-quality illustrations that capture the brand's essence & resonate with our target audience. 
  • Collaborate closely with the product design teams to understand project requirements, objectives, & timelines, ensuring timely delivery of design solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, & emerging technologies to continuously improve & innovate our brand design strategies. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, interaction design or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a brand or interactive designer. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand design, motion design, 3D design, typography, illustration, & graphic design. 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, or similar tools. 
  • Solid understanding of design principles, colour theory, layout composition, & typography. 
  • Experience with 3D design software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender) & motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is highly desirable. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills to effectively articulate & defend design concepts to stakeholders. 
  • Strong attention to detail & a keen eye for aesthetics & visual consistency.

The salary range for this role is $80,000-115,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, & location.
