The Squarespace Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for Corporate FP&A. We are looking for an ethical foundation & the ability to present unbiased & accurate information to all partners. You will be a necessary partner involved in budgeting, forecasting, & the analysis of financial results. You will partner with Finance, Legal, & People, on projects related to compensation, total rewards planning, & real estate strategy. You will report to the Director, FP&A & is based in the New York City office (hybrid 3x week).

You'll Get To...

• Maintain financial models supporting the People, Finance, & Legal Functions, also related to real estate, total workforce planning, & compensation.
• Actively involved in the preparation of the monthly close, forecast, & annual planning processes, & related financial reviews with partners.
• Partner with the People team to manage & forecast all headcount-related investments, including compensation & benefits planning.
• Perform variance analysis & provide recommendations on spending across organizational teams.
• Use knowledge of the business & corporate functions while providing impactful data & insights that may help guide the decision-making process.
• Independently build complex models & forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes & propose improvements to streamline the use of important measurements.
• Present insights of key analysis to external partners/leadership.

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience with financial statements.
• Developing financial modeling skills while continuing to expand on analysis skills.
• Mastery of Excel & FP&A Systems experience (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, or similar planning tool).
• Willingness to dig into the numbers to gain key insights.
• Ability to interact with team members across the business & corporate functions at all levels.

Cash Compensation Range: $105,500 - $148,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
