Warby Parker is on the lookout for a Principal Data Scientist who will help shape experimentation & personalization strategy. To make this possible, this role will work closely with all departments across the company: Growth, Product, Ecommerce & Retail. As a functional leader in the Data Organization, you will own the strategy & vision for Experimentation at Warby Parker. In this role, you will drive best practices, help the business create experimentation plans & analyses, derive insights & enable Warby Parker to make data driven decisions at scale.

What youll do: 

• Ask thoughtful questions & listen carefully to get to know your stakeholders vocabulary, problems, goals, & constraints
• Work with Stakeholders to design testing plans for new features, initiatives & campaigns
• Interpret final results with stakeholders, executives, & the broader company as needed
• Provide thought leadership in the Experimentation domain
• Guide the business to achieve aggressive testing goals, while maintaining strict data quality & governance requirements.

Who you are:

• Graduate Degree (Or equivalent work experience) in a quantitative subject (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, etc)
• Backed by 5+ years of experience in related stakeholder or customer-focused Experimentation function, & 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Able to exercise independent judgment on all aspects of project execution while also soliciting regular input from colleagues & stakeholders
• A confident communicator (in writing & in person) with excellent listening skills
• Someone who works proactively & effectively with people of various skill sets
• Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

• Familiarity with Advertising or Customer Analytics
• Experience in an Omni-channel business 
• Experience in a HIPAA covered organization
