As the Director of our Members Engineering group, you will lead the team that delivers delightful frictionless consumer experiences to our CLEAR customers. You will oversee membership & support experiences, subscription & payment platforms, & biometrics which power the magic of CLEAR. You will define strategy & provide hands-on leadership for the critical work streams within these areas. You will establish mechanisms for ensuring high-quality technical decisions, grow a team of strong leaders, & foster a high-performing organization. You will partner closely with Product, Security, & Engineering Leadership, ensuring we are building security & compliance into every aspect of our platform.

What you'll do:

• Define the strategy & roadmap for the technical platforms which power CLEAR 
• Lead a group of Engineering Managers & Staff+ level Engineers, focusing on their career development & performance
• Work with Product, Security, & Engineering leadership to ensure strategic alignment
• Partner with our CRM, payments, & billing integration vendors to ensure cost-effective & optimized solutions
• Drive Engineering & Operational Excellence across the organization, defining the engineering bar

The base salary range for this role is $230,000 - $270,000, depending on levels of skills & experience.

The base salary range represents the low & high end of CLEARs salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience & performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEARs total compensation package for employees & other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
