At HelloFresh, we're at the heart of innovation & customer centricity. As our new Local Activation Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving both local brand awareness & unwavering active customer retention. This role is for a highly organized, collaborative, & hands-on marketer, ready to execute local initiatives that truly resonate with communities & our customers. You'll operate at the intersection of strategic brand planning & on-the-ground execution, with a direct impact on our brand expansion & customer loyalty. You'll report directly to the Marketing Director of HelloFresh US & work cross-functionally across marketing, PR, & data teams.

You will

  • Strategic Market Prioritization & Collaboration: Work closely with the Data Analytics team & Marketing Leadership to analyze market data, identify, & prioritize key areas for investment, ensuring activation efforts align with broader strategic goals.
  • Boost Brand Awareness Locally: Lead the strategic & tactical execution of market-specific programs (e.g., events, partnerships, samplings) to significantly drive HelloFresh-US brand awareness & consideration within key hyperlocal communities.
  • Cross-Functional Strategy & Delivery: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Brand Strategy, PR, Creative) & external agencies to support the planning processfrom initial consumer insight generation to flawless campaign deliveryfor both national & city-specific initiatives.
  • Drive Customer Engagement & Retention: Be the key implementer for specialized activities & pilot programs (e.g., challenges, raffles, gifting) directed at active customers to directly enhance their experience, build community, & improve long-term retention rates, in close collaboration with our Retention Sr Manager. 
  • Measure Impact & Report Learnings: Develop & monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) & rigorously track, analyze, & report on the results of all local activations, measuring the impact on brand lift & customer retention metrics to inform future strategies.

You have

  • Experience: 4-5 years in a fast-paced environment with a direct connection to marketing or events, & a proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous local initiatives.
  • Bias for Action & Detail Orientation: You have a high drive to "get things done." You possess a meticulous attention to detail & are not afraid of rolling up your sleeves to execute innovative, high-quality activations & events.
  • Exceptional Project Management & Collaboration: Proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end. You excel at collaborating with & influencing cross-functional teams & know how to effectively leverage agencies, providing clear briefings & feedback for excellent output.
  • Customer-Centric & Insight-Driven: A strong understanding of the customer journey; you know how to start from a consumer insight to develop a relevant & effective campaign & approach problems with empathy to drive a better customer experience.
