About the role

Plus Oscar is an engagement & automation platform that enables scalable, personalized interventions & automates workflows to drive growth & retention, improve patient/member outcomes, & optimize admin operations. Built for non-technical users, payors & providers can use the tool to build omni-channel campaigns that deliver interventions with multiple touch points over time to drive behavior change. 

As a Technical Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for core technical tasks & functions associated with building & launching campaigns. Your work will increase speed to market on client campaigns, reduce the time it takes to build & launch campaigns, & ensure campaigns remain error-free before & after launch. 

You will report to a Plus Oscar leader.

Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings & events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $119,200 - $156,450 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical representative of Plus Oscar in relevant client calls, ensuring campaigns are scoped effectively & clients understand relevant technical capabilities. 
  • Design & implement new campaign development processes while anticipating potential future use cases to ensure long-term scalability in solution design.
  • Become an expert in our client & campaign data, leveraging SQL to identify trends in client populations to deliver campaigns that drive value to their business.
  • Own the execution of key product delivery processes and/or broader initiatives that scale & mature Plus Oscar.
    • Product delivery processes include: campaign launches, bug triage & resolution, quality assurance (QA) planning & execution, & building/maintaining product, client & stakeholder feedback loops. Prioritizes processes within campaign teams to accomplish, improve, scale, & execute.
  • Build & maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including, Product Management, Operations, & Data Science, to support effective collaboration & discovery of solutions to deliver on department programs & objectives. 
  • Independently analyze data & workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Design & implement process improvements that improve efficiency & quality.
  • Create & maintain documentation to make processes sustainable & scalable.
  • Monitor campaign success metrics to ensure applications and/or processes are meeting their KPIs.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional role in technology or operations.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with engineers & designers.
  • 2+ years experience working directly with engineering scrum teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with common project management tools such as Jira or Monday.com.
  • 1+ years of SQL experience.

Bonus points

  • 1+ years of health-tech startup experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional role in technology or operations.
  • Experience proactively & independently identifying opportunities for improvements in process & execution, with a proven track record of implementing changes effectively.
  • Experience navigating multiple stakeholders with competing priorities & making tradeoff decisions for your own work.
  • Demonstrated ability to pick up technical concepts (e.g. SQL, software architecture, development pipelines).
  • Experience using qualitative & quantitative insights to clarify decisions wherever possible.

Pay Transparency:  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
