About the Role

iCapital is looking for a visionary Vice President of Digital/Web Design to continue to evolve the digital experience of our brand. Youll craft engaging & audience centered designs to captivate diverse audiences & elevate our brand & industry presence. This pivotal role within our Marketing & Communications organization reports to the Center of Excellence lead, driving innovation in our shared services framework.

The ideal candidate possesses a growth mindset that fosters a culture of continuous learning & development within the digital team. This individual should be prepared to thrive in our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Modern Design: 
• Develop visually strong designs for our digital platforms, ensuring they align with current design trends & best practices.
• UX/UI Mastery: 
• Design intuitive, compelling interfaces for web & mobile, prioritizing usability, accessibility, & aesthetics.
• Web Design: 
• Work with cross-functional teams to design & optimize web pages, landing pages, & microsites.
• Collaboration: 
• Forge a synergy with our graphic designers, content leaders, brand strategist, & additional marketing stakeholders to harmonize innovative design with our brands integrity & guidelines.
• Systems-thinking:
• Design & create templates & brand system kits for scalable marketing applications.
• Thought Leadership: 
• Stay ahead of design trends, inspiring the team with groundbreaking ideas for the FinTech space.
• Customer Centricity: 
• Champion the users perspective, leveraging a deep understanding of personas, pain points, aesthetic preferences, & customer journeys to guide design decisions.
• Insight Led: 
• Utilize a variety of qualitative & quantitative methods, such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, & analytics, to inform design decisions & improve the overall user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user insights into actionable design recommendations, ensuring that the final product meets user expectations & drives business goals.
• Agile:
• Leverage design thinking & agile principles to craft & iterate high-fidelity prototypes, incorporating user feedback to deliver continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience (agency & in-house/client roles)
• B2B & enterprise marketing experience
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX, web, & digital design
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS, responsive design, & web accessibility
• Mastery of creative design suites, software, & tools
• Deep understanding of user-centric design principles
• Exceptional communication skills & collaborative spirit
• Digital fluency, with a pulse on social platforms, cultural trends, & emerging technology
• Experience working in small & large organizations
• Capable of making critical decisions under pressure, prioritizing projects & resources based on strategic business objectives
• Excellent interpersonal skills & capable of building & maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, & team members

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $180,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus. We believe the best ideas & innovation happen when we are together. We offer most employees the flexibility to work in the office three or four days. Every department has different needs, & some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
