Hi, we're Oscar. Were hiring a Onboarding & Development Sr. Specialist to join our Virtual Operations Team.

About the role:

As an Onboarding & Development Specialist you will be responsible for managing & executing the onboarding program for Oscar Medical Group [OMG], this includes providers, clinical staff, & non-clinical staff. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth continuous education & development of our OMG clinicians & staff.

In this role, youll ensure a robust onboarding & development experience, as well as a smooth transition for new hires from training to patient care. 

You will report into the Director of Practice Management & Transformation. This is a remote role, you will work remotely in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule & work cross functionally to support new hire onboarding - from system access to orientation & team introductions
  • Manage all new hire communications & troubleshooting any issues related to onboarding; track where all new hires are in the funnel on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure the appropriate OMG educational (inc onboarding) materials are uploaded in the Learning Management System [LMS] appropriately per OMG role & timely 
  • Collaborate with Learning Specialists, OMG leaders, & other departments with OMG- wide learning & development, inc onboarding, content, scheduling, & sign off 
  • Upload/ Input new hire personnel information into appropriate OMG systems
  • Track individual new hire onboarding task completion from before hire through final training sign offs
  • Ensure that the onboarding process & needed development courses for OMG roles are formally documented & update as needed with stakeholders/ trainers 
  • Plan, implement, & continuously facilitate specific- OMG new hire orientation as part of the OMG new hire onboarding program 
  • Streamline & standardize OMG onboarding & educational process across roles where appropriate 
  • Continuous review & improvement of OMG onboarding & development program with OMG leaders
  • Work with OMG leaders & providers on OMG Continued Medical Education (CME) programs & provider development needs
  • Collecting & uploading provider credentialing information 
  • Collaboration & support of OMG operations initiatives 
  • Other OMG needs as applicable to the onboarding & development of OMG

Requirements:

  • Advanced computer literacy skills with experience multitasking between required tools
  • Experience using data to make decisions & ability to problem solve 
  • 3+ years of learning & development/ project management or Bachelors Degree Required
  • 2+ years of experience in building, iterating, & revamping people training programs
