The companys flagship brand - Harrys -  was founded by Jeff Raider & Andy Katz-Mayfield in 2013. After successfully launching & scaling Harrys, Jeff & Andy saw an opportunity to bring their experience building Harrys to other CPG categories where the consumer has also been historically underserved.

Harrys has grown significantly over the last ten years, & is now made up of four brands -  Harrys, Flamingo, Lume, Mando -  and Harrys Labs, the companys incubation & M&A engine. The Harry's Inc working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. About the Role:

As the Director of Marketing for Harrys Brand, you will lead the creation & execution of innovative communication strategies that differentiate & elevate our brand in a competitive marketplace. This role requires you to manage & synergize our social media, influencer marketing, public relations, & partnership strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, & conversion. You will be instrumental in driving the strategic planning for various channel initiatives, ensuring they align with our brand values, messaging, & meet ambitious performance goals.



What you will accomplish:

  • Strategic Oversight & Execution: Develop & implement comprehensive communication strategies that integrate social media, influencer marketing, public relations, & partnerships to promote brand consistency & increase market penetration.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee the strategy for all social media channels (Tiktok, IG, YouTube shorts, Reels), ensuring content aligns with Harry's brand voice & business goals. Leverage analytics to optimize engagement & growth. Define & iterate on how Harrys will show up in all content mediums & comms channels. Define voice, guidelines & visual style for content, & create the right mix of content at different points in the awareness/consideration/conversion funnel.
  • Influencer Strategy: Craft & execute influencer marketing strategies that effectively utilize personalities & content creators to expand brand reach & authenticity. What communities do we want to engage with? What types of influencers make the most sense to reach our customers?
  • Content Strategy Development: Guide the creation of compelling content across all platforms, ensuring it supports strategic objectives & brand standards. Lead team of people who are developing content ideas, contracting with creators & influencers to develop content, scheduling content to be shared & proactively engaging with the community & measuring response. Own the creator strategy (internal & external) & execution across micro, mid & macro creators, driving outreach, connection & execution 
  • Agency Management: Manage relationships with our social content agency, influencer agency, & PR agency to ensure they deliver on brand objectives & provide ROI. Act as the primary point of contact for all external communications & campaign management for these agencies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead & mentor a team of three, dedicated to managing our social channels, nurturing our social & influencer communities, & executing our PR strategies. Set clear team goals, manage workload, & drive professional development. Build a culture constantly learning, measuring, reporting & a team capable of consistently evolving itself with the latest trends & platforms.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor & analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives & campaigns to refine strategies & report on ROAS. Own all social & influencer reporting & analytics, always making the case for social & communitys key role in Harrys brand & growth. Set goals as it relates to overall social / community engagement
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with brand, creative, retail, & product teams to ensure message cohesion & optimal impact across all consumer touchpoints. Have a deep empathy with other functions growth, brand, etc - & recognition that deep partnership is essential, & content needs to make those functions successful & vice versa
  • Define & allocate budget across all comms pillars (owned content, influencer, contracted with agencies or creators, PR, partnerships etc) to drive best overall outcomes

 

This should describe you:

You are a seasoned marketing maven with a minimum of 8-10 years in integrated marketing communications, equipped with extensive experience in managing high-impact social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, & PR strategies. You have a proven track record of commissioning/executive producing highly engaging video content across social channels. Your expertise includes strategic oversight of agency partnerships & partnership with internal teams. You thrive in dynamic environments & possess a keen ability to anticipate market trends & consumer behaviors. Your passion for creating memorable & impactful communication is matched by your ability to anticipate & adapt to shifting consumer & technology trends. You have experience setting strategy, driving measurement, managing small teams with a common vision. Experience with media agencies & in strategic creative agency roles is a plus, along with a robust background in social strategy, public relations, & partnerships.

  • Working cross-functionally with Brand Management, Omni Go-to-Market, Insights, DTC, Creative/Design

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size & industry, & are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits & our equity program.
