Warby Parker is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own & reinvent the engines that power our business operations. This role is focused on the strategy & roadmap for our core internal technology platforms, with a primary focus on our insurance processing & financial technology systems. Youll be tasked with leading the evolution of our internal tooling, creating scalable & intuitive platforms that sit at the heart of our e-commerce, retail, & patient-service operations. In addition to fintech, this role will also help drive strategy for other critical business systems, such as our catalog & merchandising platforms. You'll work closely with a wide range of teamsincluding Finance, Vision Services, Engineering, User Experience Design, Product Strategy, Retail, & Merchandisingto transform our business systems architecture. What youll do:
- Develop & execute the product vision, strategy, & roadmap for the next generation of Warby Parker's business systems, leading with our insurance & fintech platforms
- Dive deep into the weeds of our insurance claim processing, payment workflows, product data models, system architecture, & business workflows to become the go-to subject matter expert
- Drive the end-to-end process of evolving our core internal toolingfrom discovery & requirements gathering to launch & iterationacross multiple business domains
- Partner with a complex group of stakeholders to deeply understand their processes & pain points, translating their needs into a clear, prioritized backlog
- Author detailed product requirements, user stories, & technical specifications for platform & internal tooling initiatives
- Define & analyze key performance indicators for your products, focusing on claim processing efficiency, payment success rates, operational efficiency, data integrity, & speed-to-market
- Act as the voice of your internal customers, ensuring the tools you build are not just powerful but also intuitive & user-friendly
Who you are:
- Backed by 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on backend/platform products, internal tooling, or complex business systems
- Experience with fintech, payments, insurance processing, PIM, catalog management, or merchandising systems is a huge plus
- A true self-starter who is resourceful, detail-oriented, & thrives on autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- An expert at navigating complex stakeholder environments, with a proven track record of building consensus & driving cross-functional alignment
- Technically fluent; you're comfortable engaging with engineers on system architecture, APIs, & complex data models
- A well-rounded communicator, collaborator, & presenter who can articulate a compelling vision & share actionable insights with everyone from engineers to executive leadership
- The holder of a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field
- A team player at heart whos comfortable acting as a leader on certain projects & as a contributor on others
- Not on the Office of Inspector Generals List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
