We're looking for an Innovation Director who will partner with the Chief Innovation Officer to build out the innovation function & facilitate innovation projects. They will be responsible for assisting in the set up & roll out of the processes, structures & tools for innovation, & also for helping to pave the way for successful individual innovation projects. The Innovation Director will play an integral role in the development & implementation of the innovation strategy for Critical Mass, This is a role that requires a passion technology, strong marketing, commercial & communication skills, as well as a great trend intuition. This role is for a curious, self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, collaborative leader, who is enthusiastic about building out this exciting new practice.

You will:

  • Support global cross-functional innovation efforts surrounding the adoption of new tools, integration of new ways of working & creation of new services & from concept through to launch
  • Lean into innovative client work supporting day-to-day project management, as well as bigger picture strategy work & creation of new processes to support innovation work streams (e.g., innovation sprints, usage of new technologies)
  • Drive engagement & alignment with leadership teams around innovation priorities
  • Plan, resource & effectively project manage innovation work streams
  • Identify new trends & ideas through proactive learning & constant interaction with various members of the organization with a passion for new tech
  • Partner with the CIO to create & deliver thought leadership further establishing CM as a leader in innovation
  • Help deploy learning & development programs focused on adoption of innovative tools & ways of working
  • Work in conjunction with the CIO to evangelize successful innovative work & create replicable processes to allow Critical Mass employees do the same type of work throughout the business
  • Create a culture of innovation, role-modeling key behaviors every day

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in innovation, strategy and/or digital advertising preferably in or associated with the technology sector
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams with the ability to get resourceful in sourcing information, finding collaborators & creating ways of working to move projects forward
  • The ability to be strategic while also rolling up your sleeves & executing
  • Deep understanding & experience with developing 360-degree insights inclusive of commercial, consumer & cultural
  • Direct experience building, presenting & implementing go-to-market strategies
  • A clear communicator who can motivate people to get big things done, fast
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills & strong interpersonal skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated, positive attitude & with the ability to drive improvements
  • Teamwork & collaboration-oriented mindset.
  • Detail & results oriented working style.
  • Flexibility & the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong commitment to learning.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products as well as Keynote

Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but arent limited to, a candidates experience & skills relative to the scope & responsibilities of the position.
