About the Role

iCapital is looking for a Senior Vice President (SVP) to join the Marketing team to lead the Marketing Shared Services function within our Marketing & Communications structures. This role  will serve as a strategic leader on the Marketing leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

In this position, the SVP will provide clear objectives, align initiatives with business goals, & elevate the overall performance of events, digital disciplines, & analytics functions. The role will collaborate with leaders from Corporate Communications & Public Relations, Brand, Channel, & our International Marketing group, as well as with Product, Sales, & Technology teams at iCapital. The ideal candidate will lead with a growth mindset to drive marketing disciplines forward & contribute to the business with insights & a customer-first driven mentality.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide clear strategic direction to ensure the alignment of efforts from the Events, Digital, & Analytics teams with the broader goals of the organization.
  • Elevate the performance of events management, digital marketing, & analytics functions through senior leadership, resulting in a more impactful web presence, social media engagement, successful event execution, & insightful analytics reporting.
  • Manage a team of direct reports across different disciplines, leading with clarity, & a drive for success.
  • Develop & manage a marketing scorecard for each function focusing on KPIs.
  • Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration to develop cohesive & effective strategies that leverage the strengths of each discipline.
  • Develop talent within each of the disciplines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement & innovation.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Center of Excellence & senior leadership, providing regular updates & insights on the performance & impact of events, digital initiatives, & analytics strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in marketing leadership roles overseeing events management, digital marketing (including web & social media), and/or analytics, with 8 -10 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience leading a team
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide clear objectives & align initiatives with business goals
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, & agency relationships effectively to achieve goals
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a track record of leveraging data to drive decision-making & optimize performance
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams & senior leadership
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop & execute comprehensive, results-driven strategies, demonstrating adeptness in leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools & technologies for events management, digital marketing, & analytics
  • Demonstrated experience working with international teams or managing global projects, showcasing an understanding of diverse cultural nuances & market dynamics
  • Experience in the technology sector, with a strong understanding of digital trends & technologies relevant to the role

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $205,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
