About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Workday Configuration Analyst to join our Global HR Technology team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR Technology & Operations, this role will focus on configuring, optimizing, & supporting core Workday HCM modulesspecifically Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Learning, & HCM. This position will play a key role in ensuring Workday meets the evolving needs of our business by providing day-to-day support, implementing new functionality, & driving enhancements that improve efficiency & user experience.

In this role, youll collaborate with HR, Payroll, & business teams to define requirements & deliver scalable configurations. Youll support new feature deployments & Workday releases through effective testing, documentation, & communication. Youll also provide hands-on production supporttroubleshooting issues, validating data, maintaining system integrity, & identifying opportunities to automate & streamline processes. Close partnership with internal & external stakeholders will ensure accuracy, compliance, & a seamless employee experience.

Configuration

  • Act as the primary technical resource for Workday HCM, with key responsibility for Payroll, Absence, & Time Tracking, & additional support across Learning, Security, & other HCM modules.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, & translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.

  • Design, configure, test, & implement business processes, ensuring compliance, data integrity, & alignment with business needs.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize configuration, automate workflows, & improve system usability.

  • Troubleshoot issues across business processes, calculated fields, business logic, file loads, & security roles.

  • Lead deployment of new functionality & process enhancements, ensuring adherence to SOX & internal controls.

  • Stay current on Workday releases; assess impact, perform testing, & implement relevant updates.

Testing

  • Lead & coordinate semi-annual Workday release testing, including planning, execution, & issue resolution.

  • Develop & execute test plans for new configuration, enhancements, & integrations.

  • Document configuration & testing results, & provide training or knowledge transfer as needed.

  • Conduct root cause analysis & implement corrective measures for system issues.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to design, build, & maintain reports & dashboards using Workday Report Writer & Designer.

  • Leverage embedded analytics to support operational & strategic decision-making across HR & Payroll functions.

  • Ensure reporting solutions are accurate, scalable, & aligned with business needs.

Integrations & Security

  • Partner with HRIS & stakeholders to review, test, & troubleshoot system integrations.

  • Serve as the primary resource for integration requirements, testing, & issue resolution.

  • Configure & maintain security roles & permissions in alignment with organizational policies.

  • Communicate system functionality & updates to end users & ensure issues are resolved within defined SLAs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Workday HCM Configuration experience including, listed from most to least important - Payroll, Absence, Time & Attendance, Benefits, Integrations & Security.

  • Experience with Workday Reporting & Dashboards including Advanced & Composite Reports.

  • Deep understanding of Workday data & structure, business processes, reporting, security, integrations & authentication capabilities.

  • Strong testing & release management experience.
  • Detail oriented, with strong follow-up skills.

  • Strong communication & collaboration skills
  • Happy to work in office 3 days per week on a hybrid basis.

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.

The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$97,000 - $147,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
