SoundCloud is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who will work at the intersection of our product, music, & marketing teams. The Senior Product Marketing Manager role spans the most exciting parts of our business, from understanding & anticipating customer needs be it hobbyist creators, professional artists or music listeners & fans to building out positioning, messaging & go-to-market strategies for various products & features.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will play an important role in shaping product strategy & driving revenue growth. If we cant sell it, we probably shouldnt build it. Working cross-functionally with teams across the entire organization, you will develop & execute comprehensive marketing strategies, leveraging market insights to differentiate our offerings & capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & execute product marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Leverage internal & external data to identify audiences, trends, & competitive landscapes
  • Develop messaging & positioning that compels user behaviors & reaches into new marketing programs & campaigns
  • Lead the implementation of effective go-to-market plans for product & feature launches, holding stakeholders accountable to ensure successful execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams & challenge peers to drive product success through said positioning, messaging, & go-to-market strategies
  • Drive the creation of marketing assets & product-related content
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in product pricing & packaging strategies to maximize revenue
  • Analyze product performance metrics & market feedback to optimize marketing strategies & visions beyond the actual launch moment
  • Provide guidance & support to internal teams & customers as a subject matter expert for the product portfolio
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, & customer needs to inform product development & marketing initiatives
  • Research trends, risks & opportunities in the music industry & digital streaming
  • Establish expertise in & enable stakeholders on a set of verticals & audiences

Experience & Background

  • 6+ years in Product Marketing or a related field
  • Passion for the future of music & knowledge about music industry dynamics
  • Communication chops with a track record of presenting to both senior management & external audiences
  • Good judgment & an ability to handle complex situations with clarity & confidence
  • Strength in establishing good relationships, building trust & managing stakeholders
  • Overall adaptability & organization skills; comfort managing multiple projects & setting priorities

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $155,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, & location.
