Were looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our product-focused team. Youll design, build, & maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, & collaborate closely with software engineers to streamline development & deployment workflows. Your expertise & contributions will directly impact the reliability, scalability, & agility of our software products. This is a full-time, hybrid role, with an expectation of at least two days a week on-site in our New York City office.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, & optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, & container technologies
- Design, deploy, & manage cloud infrastructure in AWS & Azure for development, staging, & production environments
- Containerize services with Docker & orchestrate them using Kubernetes
- Automate configuration management & deployments with Ansible & Chef
- Develop & maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for repeatable, versioned infrastructure
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, & implement proactive alerting & remediation
- Provide operational support & incident response in alignment with defined SLAs
- Collaborate with development teams to support Java- & Python-based applications throughout their lifecycle
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, & cost optimization in cloud environments
- Document architectures, workflows, & standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
- Proficiency with AWS & Azure cloud services
- Strong Docker expertise; ECS & Kubernetes cluster administration
- Solid background in Postgres & MySQL database administration
- Exposure to monitoring stacks (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK)
- Experience writing Ansible playbooks & Chef cookbooks for configuration management
- Proven expertise in Jenkins & GitHub Actions pipeline creation & maintenance
- Proficient in Java & Python scripting for automation tasks
- Deep understanding of Linux system administration & networking concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills & a collaborative mindset
Nice-to-Have
- Multi-cloud deployment & management experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Terraform experience for provisioning & managing cloud resources
- Vault knowledge for secrets management & data protection
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Graph, etc)
- Familiarity with Argo CD for GitOps-driven continuous delivery
- Experience with policy enforcement tools (OPA, AWS Config)
- Background in security best practices & compliance frameworks

This role will receive a competitive salary & benefits with a base salary of $95,000 to $145,000 annually for US-based employees hired into this role, commensurate with experience & qualifications.
