Senior Art Directors are strategically & conceptually strong, masters of their craft & able to work across a wide range of deliverables & mediums including film, out of home, social, digital, partnerships & events. 

The role reports into the Creative Director in the New York office. 

Candidates are required to reside within commuting distance of our New York office, with an in-office presence required three days per week.

• Design & build presentations that clearly articulate your idea(s), both internally & externally.

• Maintain a handle on current industry trends & cultural insights so that the work you create is topical & relevant.

• Participate in growing the culture of the team.

Who We're Looking For

• A portfolio that shows strong strategic & conceptual campaign thinking applied across a range of deliverables & mediums.
• Substantial experience at an agency or in-house role within a creative team.
• Impeccable visual craft & an understanding of relevant programs in order to achieve it.
• Strong design skills & experience using AI image generating programs.
• Ability to create compelling presentations & sell work to stakeholders.
• Broad awareness of trends in culture & technology.
• Experience collaborating on productions & partnering with directors, photographers, motion designers, illustrators, & more.
• A solid understanding of social media & non-traditional media.

Cash Compensation Range: $126,500 - $203,550 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, & location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
