We are a forward-thinking, product-driven organization in search of a Design System Intern to contribute to the evolution of our platform, which provides comprehensive data reporting & insights to empower our customers. This internship is an opportunity to learn from & contribute to the Design System supporting a global team of developers & designers.

What Youll Do:

• Work in cross-functional teams to define/write user experience requirements & creatively deliver simple & intuitive design solutions for Conductor under guidance of senior designers. 
• Discover, evaluate, & document user interface design patterns & standards.
• Use Figma to provide the Design Team with flexible, easy to use, & well documented components for use in their work.
• Evaluate & improve usability & accessibility of our components, & be a champion for the user in the process.

Skills Youll Need to Have:

• Possess basic interaction design skills & foundations.
• Familiarity of user-centered design processes & methodologies.
• Proficiency with Figma or other design tools & confidence in fully leveraging its features (i.e., components, auto-layout, libraries, etc.)
• Creative thinker who can effectively communicate ideas, both written & verbal.
• A quick learner & detail-oriented.
• Able to work as a member in cross-functional teams which include designers & engineers, of various backgrounds & across time zones.
• Curiosity about the design system community with a desire to build quality systems, tooling & workflows.
• Aware of the value of accessibility in UX & an advocate for inclusive experiences.
