Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team.

About the role

As a Marketing Manager you will enable growth initiatives through marketing.  You will create forecasts for planned initiatives, identify new opportunities to achieve enterprise goals through marketing & rely on past experience to significantly advance our capabilities. You will use proactive problem solving & data monitoring to champion marketing-led work streams resulting in increased membership, retention & consumer experience. You will deliver marketing plans that meet or exceed stated goals autonomously with minimal supervision through leadership of direct reports or by influencing others.  

You will report to a Marketing leader.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $103,200 - $135,450 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying, scoping, designing, executing, measuring & optimizing multichannel campaigns to achieve stated goals. 
  • Monitor the performance of campaigns to determine the right optimizations & to inform future work.  
  • Measure the impact of marketing campaigns, create reports & communicate insights to key stakeholders. 
  • Design & implement a/b tests that meet statistical significance thresholds, analyze results & recommend future optimizations. 
  • Work cross functionally to represent the team & collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs.  
  • Stay abreast of trends & best practices in key marketing channels including email, SMS, direct mail, digital & social, & website. 
  • Directly or indirectly manage agency & vendor relationships including SLAs & outputs.  
  • Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of experience using data & analytical capabilities to solve business problems & evaluate effectiveness & potential impact of marketing campaigns
  • 1+ years of experience with marketing measurement including a/b testing, campaign performance, forecasting vs. actuals, statistical significance, optimization & setting up measurable campaigns
  • 3+ years of experience identifying new & innovative ways to solve problems through marketing
  • 2+ years of experience with channels - email, sms, direct mail, paid digital (social, sem,display, etc), website optimization both utilizing for campaigns & managing. 
  • 2+ years of experience leading complex initiatives from concept to implementation, collaborating with cross functional partners along the way, & getting executive buy in.  
  • 2+ years of experience creating presentations & presenting to senior leaders 

Bonus Points

  • Management or ability to mentor peers & others
  • Agency management experience 
  • Experience in healthcare, specifically insurance sector, & / or  Individual & Family plans
  • Experiencing navigating both B2B & D2C or B2B2C

Travel required

  • Up to 5%

Pay Transparency:  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
