Manager, Operations Planning

Factor a brand of HelloFresh is seeking an Operations Planning Manager to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you will support the manufacturing & distribution centers in the Factor brand network, currently in the Chicago & Phoenix markets, by providing data insights to our operations team. Additional effort will focus around monitoring of improvement projects that pertain to operational optimization as well as owning business level tools & metrics visualizations. You will 

• Lead a group of high performing analysts that offer 7 day a week coverage to our operations teams at the distribution center level 
• Provide strategic insights to the Operations & Supply Chain departments by conducting in-depth data analysis, forecasting trends, & identifying opportunities for process optimization & cost reduction
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional stakeholders to align business processes, share insights, & drive coordinated efforts towards achieving operational goals.
• Prepare & deliver regular updates, reports, & presentations suitable for an executive level audience, conveying complex data-driven insights in a clear & actionable manner.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to identify areas for enhancement, automation, & efficiency gains.
• Oversee & manage tools development, maintenance, & data visibility for third-party logistics (3PL) sites, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems.
• Conduct technical gap analyses & develop advanced tools & scripts to provide real-time data visibility to the operations team, enabling proactive decision-making.
• Work with leadership on developing more robust user interface to eventually transition from google sheets to HTML/Java/Python based platform

At a minimum, you have...

• 1-2 years of experience leading a data analytics team (either as a manager, supervisor or team lead)
• Possess 3-5 years of proven experience in an analytical capacity, including preparing comprehensive reports, dynamic presentations, dashboards, & data visualizations for various stakeholders.
• Proficient in supply chain planning processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, & production scheduling.
• Proven experience in demand forecasting methodologies, including time series analysis, regression analysis, & causal modeling.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel), Google Suite applications (particularly Google Sheets & Google Scripts), & Tableau for data visualization.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction & manipulation. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Query & Python is a strong plus, enabling advanced data processing & analysis capabilities.
