YOUR ROLE:

You've started your career in copywriting. You have a portfolio of work showing experience across multiple channels. You have strong conceptual thinking, solid writing skills & experience in the Microsoft Suite of products.  You demonstrate the potential to push the boundaries of creative excellence & ensure the delivery of required results.

You understand how to get things done & strive to make them better.  You communicate effectively & persuade & influence others while relating to them in a confident & relaxed manner. You know how to support & show respect, as well as have a positive regard for all people in all situations. You always put people first, working effectively with individuals & teams, clients, & staff.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bringing your full self to all you do every single day.
  • Ability to Create, Present, & Execute creative concepts that are on strategy across all direct marketing channels
  • Comes up with multiple ways of answering the briefs that are original & unexpected.
  • Shows eagerness to experiment, collaborate, & see ideas implemented.
  • Demonstrates an appreciation for the importance of data-driven insight in the creative process.
  • Ability to be autonomous in daily activities but maintain connected through regular check-ins & updates to the manager.
  • Manages work efficiently with accountability to always deliver on time, on budget & on brief.
  • Participates in the creative department, local office, & national RAPP activities, meetings, training, & developmental opportunities.
  • Ability to express ideas through concept statements, mini-manifestos, & other forms of writing to quickly get an idea across.
  • Present your copy & strategic concepts to senior team members.
  • Displays an interest in the company culture & looks for ways to add value to it.
  • Shows hunger & fearlessness through dedication to their craft.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 0-2 years experience in copywriting.
  • Must have a proven portfolio of spec or produced work.
  • Must demonstrate experience/knowledge in digital/interactive & print.
  • Must demonstrate writing that is fueled by strong conceptual thinking.
  • Must take ownership & be confident in talking about copy & concept decisions.
  • Must strive to overdeliver & always show different solutions to a copy task.
  • Must possess good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Possess knowledge of a variety of Apple-related programs & Figma is a plus.

Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections & collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to NYC & multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience & training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
