Revenue Operations Commission Analyst

SecurityScorecard is seeking a Commission Analyst to join our global Revenue Operations team. The Commission Analyst will be responsible for managing the commission payment process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, & compliance, & providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, & proficiency in working with financial data. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate a high level of commitment & dedication to meeting deadlines through thorough & accurate reporting, as well as responsiveness to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own & execute, with accuracy, the end-to-end sales commission process for all commissionable members of the organization (approximately 175 commission plans across six commission plan templates)
  • Prepare & distribute commission reports to sales teams & executive management via CaptivateIQ.
  • Ensure timely & accurate commission payments to eligible employees.
  • Conduct regular audits of commission calculations to identify discrepancies & ensure compliance.
  • Analyze commission data to identify trends, insights, & opportunities for optimization & improvement.
  • Assist in budget forecasting & financial planning related to sales commissions.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting using visualizations, including advanced Excel & BI Tools (such as Tableau).
  • Lead the commission-related inquiries & issues process, & collaborate with HR, Finance, & Revenue Operations leadership to address any concerns.  

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in commission administration. Experience working in a fast-paced finance, sales operations, or business analytics function is required. 
  • Strong attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Creative & logical problem-solving skills with an always curious mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities & ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly & simply to management, colleagues, & external parties.
  • Experience with administering & designing commission plans using compensation tools, including CaptivateIQ, Spiff, and/or Xactly is required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced/expert-level Excel.
  • Experience with analytics tools & BI Tools preferred.
  • Experience with CRM tools, including Salesforce.com & Gainsight.

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications & experience, & may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards & equity, among other company benefits.
