Since then, Harrys has expanded to Canada & Europe, developed relationships with retailers such as Target & Walmart, expanded our grooming brand into a personal care powerhouse, launched two new brands including Flamingo & Cat Person, & made our first brand acquisition with Lum.

The Harry's Inc working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. This role is based onsite out of our Soho office at 3-4 days/week, schedule-dependent on business needs. Our beautiful 70,000 square foot SoHo office is decked out with bagels on Wednesdays & lunch on Thursdays, & fully stocked kitchens with snacks, coffee, & drinks everyday.  Cant forget the free products & the opportunity to have some meetings without Zoom!

The Team

People are core to our business & our People Team at Harry's works to build & support the Harry's team at large through innovative ways. We are looking for an engaging & dynamic individual to join the People team to provide much needed support in driving the People agenda & creating a strong, inclusive & engaging culture. 

 

The Role 

As Workplace Experience (WPX) Senior Associate & Executive Assistant to the Chief People Officer, you will work directly with Harrys Inc Sr. Manager of Employee Experience to run the New York office, creating a great employee experience through workplace events, program management, & general People support. This role is responsible for designing & executing internal events & employee experience programs at Harrys while also operating reception part-time. In addition, this role will provide leverage to our Chief People Officer by keeping her organized through top tier EA support. You will work closely with the Chief People Officer managing calendar coordination, scheduling, booking travel, expense reporting, running large team meetings, & taking & cascading notes. 

 

What you will accomplish:

As an Executive Assistant

  • Anticipate needs, look around corners, & provide the highest caliber of administrative support on day-to-day scheduling, meeting logistics & preparation, & travel itineraries for our Chief People Officer (CPO)
  • Ensure the CPO is prepared for professional meetings & personal & professional events by soliciting agendas, creating itineraries, making reservations, printing materials, & doing whatever it takes to ensure effective preparation
  • Interact regularly & build relationships with executives & colleagues across various teams & with external stakeholders
  • Serve as a positive ambassador on behalf of Harrys, Inc by consistently acting in a way that leaves people with a positive perception of the company while truly embodying our values.

As part of the Workplace Experience team

  • Serve as an ambassador for the office space - help newcomers get oriented, greet visitors, answer/direct questions about resources, & anticipate needs with a hospitality first mindset
  • Oversee strategy, design, planning, & execution of company events including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, & overall event communication (e.g. Holiday Party, monthly pop-ups). Project manage all aspects of employee events from start to finish & manage relationships with all event-related vendors
  • Drive & continually improve Workplace Experience team programs, including the anniversary gift program, employee onboarding, & employee meal programs
  • Support the WPX team with onsite activities like ticket routing, vendor deliveries, ad hoc facilities projects, product stocking, & visitor gift bags

  • Youre proactive: Some might call it pushy, but we just think youre proactive. Youre always three steps ahead, & know how to manage senior executives to help them avoid potential pitfalls.
  • You possess foresight: If you had a superpower, it would be the ability to see (and plan) around corners. You know theres a problem & you know how to fix it before anyone else.
  • You are a creative problem solver: Theres no sticky situation that you cant wiggle your way out of, & you always come to the table with solutions.
  • Youre a great communicator: You can communicate nuance effectively to anyone, & you know how to modify your tone based on who youre speaking to. Whether its in an email, over the phone, or in person, you know how to get things done through your ability to clearly & professionally express yourself.
  • You exercise good judgment: Youre trustworthy & exercise good judgment with the most confidential & sensitive information. You know how to tactfully navigate requests for information that may not be best shared; you help to put out, rather than flame, rumors & gossip.

  • Reports to Sr Manager of Workplace Experience & dotted lines to the Chief People Officer within the People team
  • Partners with the WPX team & cohort of Executive Assistants to drive things forward 
  • Works closely with stakeholders across the People Team
  • External vendors & service providers

That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size & industry, & are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits & our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $71,200-$80,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidates location, skill level & experience.
