About the Role

Our Engineering team is seeking a Senior Director of Project Management. This role is responsible for overseeing & managing the project management function within the organization. They help our team enhance productivity, improve collaboration, mitigate risks, foster a culture of continuous improvement, & ultimately drive business successwhile continuously seeking new ways to evolve Nooms software development practices.

You Will

• Provide leadership & guidance to a team of project managers/scrum masters in the US & abroad, including hiring, training, & mentoring
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by working with the team to identify bottlenecks, analyze team workflows, & drive process enhancements across the software development lifecycle
• Establish, evolve & enforce best practices for project management & Agile frameworks & methodologies in the world of AI
• Integrate modern AI tools & capabilities into the software development process to enhance team efficiency & achieve new levels of productivity
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, & executive stakeholders to ensure teams are aligned on project goals & priorities
• Support the team in delivering incremental value each sprint while continuing to drive towards the product vision
• Identify & remove impediments & external distractions, ensure the team has the necessary tools & resources to rapidly respond to change, & create an environment of collaboration to help the team achieve long-term success
• Monitor performance metrics across all teams to assess team health, optimize product delivery, & optimize processes
• Directly interface with many senior- & executive-level business & technical partners & must develop strong working relationships with all resources to ensure successful delivery, continuous improvement, & overall adoption within Noom

About You

You Have

• 15+ years of applicable experience
• 7+ years of leadership & people management experience
• Demonstrated Agile background & proven experience implementing Agile and/or Hybrid methodologies
• Proven experience managing business & technical resources, including vendors & consultants
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvement initiatives & optimizing software delivery
• Experience implementing or evaluating AI solutions to improve engineering operations is a plus
• Ability to operate effectively & easily transition between strategic & tactical initiatives
• Self-motivated leader, able to manage complex cross-functional projects with minimal direction
• Excellent analytical & communication skills
• Proven experience preparing, presenting, & maintaining required documentation & artifacts
• Proven experience developing training materials & in training end-users on new procedures & applications

Base Salary

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000 - $285,000.
• The range displayed on each job posting is based on Nooms estimate as of the date of publication & reflects the minimum & maximum target for the position for US-based candidates. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including (but not limited to) relevant experience & training, assessment of functional skills & behavioral competencies, role scope, & location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.
