We are looking for a Global Payroll Manager who will:

• Lead all aspects of the payroll process & vendor relationships for multiple international locations/entities.
• Manage payroll for international PEO structures.
• Manage the upload of all commission & bonus payouts.
• Demonstrate expertise in state & local payroll taxes, benefits, 401k, & other aspects of payroll.
• Establish strong payroll quality controls, ensuring compliance with country, state, & local payroll, wage, & hour laws.
• Oversee timely & accurate payroll-related tax filings, including liaising with federal & state agencies.
• Ensure compliance with tax agencies & register with new tax agencies as required.
• Coordinate fiscal & calendar year-end processing, including supplemental payrolls, W-2s, & other tax forms.
• Manage vendor relationships with payroll providers, negotiating contracts & service-level agreements for cost-effectiveness & quality
• Drive & handle projects such as M&A payroll integration, planning & implementing new country payroll platforms.
• Generate & prepare payroll general ledger files for monthly accounting close, including booking journal entries & monthly reconciliations.
• Create, prepare, & analyze special reports for management & on an ad hoc basis.
• Respond to inquiries regarding payroll, employment status & history.
• Assist in annual audits, providing all requested information
• Stay current with international payroll laws, mitigating risks, & addressing compliance issues.
• Lead payroll system enhancements & upgrades as needed.
• Build positive relationships within cross-functional teams, providing expertise on payroll matters.
• Provide strategic leadership for payroll operations, ensuring effectiveness & efficiency.
• Manage, coach, & develop the payroll team to optimize operational excellence & talent growth.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience required, including 1-2 years managing people remotely 
• Experience scaling & optimizing payroll systems & procedures for a fast-growing global organization, with a proven record of successful project management.
• Experience supporting a global payroll implementation.
• Proficiency with data analysis & Microsoft Excel & Google sheets.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• An ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, is flexible, collaborative, & deadline driven.
• Strong management ability with proven record to lead, positively influence & drive change 
• Strong analytical & quantitative skills; ability to analyze data & metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, & drive actions.
• Experience with ADP is a plus

Compensation: Conductor maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs. 

The base salary range for this role is currently up to $112,000 per year. Actual base salary offered may vary within this range based on  education, knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, internal equity, & geographic location, among other factors. The actual compensation, if offered a position, will be based on these factors.

Variable compensation: In addition to the base salary, this role is also eligible for a variable bonus based on personal & company performance.
