Vimeo is looking for talented individuals to join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A Manager role will initially be centered around forecasting & budgeting all company-wide compensation expenses with the opportunity to take on more broad responsibilities including consolidation, cash flow forecasting, & additional cost support. This role is highly visible within the organization as it involves frequent communication with budget owners (including executives) & various domestic & international accounting teams.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to make an impact, detail-oriented, & comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
What youll do:
- Maintain Vimeos global headcount & compensation models, including publishing monthly forecasts, preparing departmental rosters, & refreshing quarterly bonus accrual files
- Partner with the Revenue Operations team to forecast earned & expensed commissions based on various plan designs; Review & approve monthly commissions payouts
- Conduct weekly headcount meetings with executives to discuss staffing plans & trends
- Prepare pro forma headcount analyses to assist executive scenario planning
- Approve new hire requisitions, ensuring budget compliance & strategic alignment
- Assist with the development, preparation, & presentation of the annual budget
- Assist with creating financial presentations for board meetings, earnings releases, & other investor presentations
- In conjunction with Financial Systems & BI teams, help drive automation, process improvement & efficiency through planning system enhancements, BI tools, & operational improvements
- Opportunity to take on more broad responsibilities, including consolidation, cash flow forecasting, & additional cost support
Skills & knowledge you should possess:
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or comparable discipline
- 3-5 years of finance-related work experience
- Superior analytical & modeling skills; strong attention to detail & the ability to summarize intricate analyses/data into executive-level presentations
- Strong verbal & written communication skills. Executive presence required
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills required; experience with Oracle & HFM a plus
- Working knowledge of GAAP accounting & financial principles
Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):
- CPA or accounting/audit experience
- Preference for candidates in the NYC-metro area
Targeted Base Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $138,000.00
The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
