Position Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be working with a talented team responsible for developing identity & access management solution for a wide variety of DoubleVerifys products. We are a tech company at heart, addressing complex challenges & innovating to use the best technology & practices for the task at hand on a daily basis. You will be responsible for designing & building various components of DVs IAM solution. You will be closely coordinating & working with multiple development, product, & Client Services teams.
This position is full-time & located in our New York City headquarters office.
What you will do:
- Work on all aspects of front-end application - from technical design to development & support. Design & build code & style components using modern front-end development stack.
- Design, develop & document robust, performant & maintainable server-side components of DVs IAM solution, including services & elements of infrastructure.
- Design, develop & document APIs to be used by partners & other development teams.
- Test & optimize code developed both by you & by other team members.
- Actively participate in code reviews & technical design discussions & decision-making.
- Work in continuous development & integration cycles.
- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with team members & Product Managers on a daily basis & participating in product meetings.
Who you are:
- You have at least 6 years of software engineering experience, preferably specializing in backend development.
- You are familiar with all aspects of SDLC; you know what the best practices are & follow them in your work; you are comfortable working in a CI/CD environment.
- You have 5 years of experience developing back-end components using object-oriented languages such as Java, C# and/or Python.
- You also have 2-3 years hands-on development experience using React & Redux, JavaScript, & CSS frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, Material, etc.)
- You are familiar with microservices architecture; you have experience designing, developing & consuming REST APIs.
- You understand the principles of building high-performance large-scale distributed systems & have experience building such systems.
- You have substantial hands-on experience working with SQL databases.
- You have experience working in an agile environment with distributed teams.\You are a quick learner, have excellent communication skills & are a team player.
- Knowledge about OAuth2.0, OpenId, & Identity Access Management systems is a plus; experience working with Keycloak is a big plus.
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$99,000- $197,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, & recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
