<P CLASS="MsoNormal">People today are increasingly consuming information visually through images, video & the world around them. We are sharing, pinning & snapping images more than ever before. We are using beautiful images to discover serendipitously the new restaurants we want to try out, vacations we want to plan & the products we want to buy. We are even chasing hidden augmented reality Pokemons all around Central Park in New York!</P>
<P CLASS="MsoNormal">As products move closer to providing users with a real world visual experience, companies are realizing the potential of leveraging AI to use the vast information in these images to provide users with recommendations, comparisons & an ability to store & relive memories.</P>
<P CLASS="MsoNormal">As a product manager, it has never before become more important to understand the visual nuances that impact user experience & understand the process of using images to build successful products.</P>

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">This talk is for product managers, data scientists & leaders who are interested in Computer Vision. You will walk away with an overview of what it takes to build products that use computer vision.</P>
<P>Doors open at 6pm. <SPAN>Light refreshments, including beer & wine, will be provided.</SPAN>Please arrive early to mix, mingle & network. We will have time for Q&A from the audience afterwards. A nominal fee of $10 is requested to cover WIP programming costs for local events & our annual conference.</P>

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Surabhi Shastri is a Senior Product Manager at Ebay. She leads discovery & personalization algorithms for Ebay users across all platforms such as the homepage, native apps & emails. Previously, she was the Head of Data Products at Saavn, South Asia's biggest music streaming app with over 20M users, where she shipped analytical tools, algorithmic playlists & a product for artists to analyze & grow their fanbase. She got her MBA from Columbia Business School where she focused on entrepreneurship & venture capital & is a computer engineer.</P>

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Mary Titus is a Product Manager at eBay NYC team where she works alongside a team of stellar engineers & researchers to bring computer vision to life. Most recently, her team announced the upcoming launch of Image Search & Find It On eBay - two new products that enable visual search across eBay's inventory of over 1 billion items. She is a graduate of Georgia Institue of Tehchnology with a degree in Industrial Engineering specializing in operations research.</P>

<P CLASS="MsoNormal">Joy Tang is a former high frequency algorithmic trader turned computer vision entrepreneur. She left a seven-figure salary in high frequency trading to create Markable, the leader in fashion image recognition. Originally from China, Joy attended MIT on a full scholarship, with majors in math & economics. She also holds a Gold Medal in Math Olympics in China & as a teen was the anchor of a Chinese television program. She understood how to build algorithms from her work in high frequency trading, & upon noticing a huge gap in the market between e-commerce & digital content, she was inspired to develop the AI technology to make all actors' & actresses' wardrobes immediately shoppable.</P>
