Class Description

C# scripting in Unity has a lot of power under the hood, but it can be difficult to discover it & figure out how to use it. In this workshop, we will go beyond the basics & look at advanced ways to make your programs more efficient, expressive & easier to debug. We will also examine ways to leverage the MonoDevelop environment to increase your productivity.
It is suggested you bring a laptop with Unity installed to follow along with the examples. Unity can be downloaded for free here.

About the Instructor

Spencer Grey is an award-winning designer/developer. He was Creative Director at Sesame Streets Interactive group & then went on to co-found Electric Funstuff. For 15 years he served as the Creative & Technical lead working with companies such as Sony, Lego, & Scholastic. His largest project was writing the game engine that powers the Mission US series of historical adventures. He has several apps in development that are just crazy enough they might work.
