A glimpse at technologies that will change mobile computing in the next 3-5 years

ABOUT THE EVENT
New sensors. More intelligent apps. Mobile-connected smart objects. Wearables. LTE. Augmented reality. Multi-platform development tools. Precision indoor location sensing. Ultra HD. Flexible screens. The list of anticipated future mobile technologies goes on and on.
NYC Media Lab and Razorfish are hosting an evening of demos and discussion on Mobile Futures to explore what's on the verge of commercialization, what's still in the lab, and what advances will change the nature of media and communications in the future. Representatives from NYC startups, tech companies, and university labs will participate. Register to attend (password: "getmobile").
SUBMIT YOUR DEMO: INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
We're looking for provocative apps, devices, sensors, and everything in between that speak to the next wave of mobile technologies. This isn't a trade show; demo presenters will be stationed throughout the venue during the event's freewheeling opening Mobile Expo session (6:00 - 7:00 PM). Presenters will demo their products for our invited guests, who will include representatives from media companies, agencies, startups, and more.
Submissions are open to the public. Submit your demo by April 11.
Requirements:
Demo participants must be available to arrive at Razorfish headquarters by 4pm on 4/23 and able to stay for the entirety of the event, 6:00-8:30pm
Demo participants must bring all of their own equipment, cables, etc. Participants will have access to a table, WiFi, and power outlets.
The demo should be small and portable: whatever you can fit into a backpack.
Submission is not a guarantee of acceptance or invitation to the event. NYC Media Lab and Razorfish reserve the right at their discretion to select which demos to include in the expo. Those whose demos are accepted will be notified by April 16.
