In celebration of 50 years since the historic march on Washington, DC, theteam here at BITNY/ and the Black Techies asked the question, "If Martin Luther King, Jr. werealive today, what app would he build?"

And #MLKHack was born.

BITNY.org in partnership with Tumblr is happy to host the #MLKHack. The hackathon this during the 2014 MLK weekend (Jan 18-19) at Tumblr's offices in Manhattan.

You and your teams mission is come up and build the app that MartinLuther King, Jr. would have built today.

Meals and Beverages will be provided along with plenty of wifi and prizes for winning apps.
