Here's how it works:
Check-in and Intros
15 minutes - decode solo. Quiet research time. Dig into the news, the product, the tech, the data. No talking, just thinking.
45 minutes - decode together. We open the floor. What did you find? Where do you disagree? What's convincing, what's overhyped, what would change your mind? This is where judgment actually gets built - not from reading alone, but from testing your read against someone else's.
Last few minutes - wrap up.
You'll leave with a sharper read on the topic than you walked in with, and a few new perspectives you hadn't considered. That's the whole point.

A tiny AI startup called Jev just went viral for doing the opposite of what every other AI company is doing - it doesn't chat at all. Built by an ex-OpenAI researcher, Jev only returns fast, structured decisions (yes/no, multiple choice, confidence scores) instead of generating text, and it's reportedly fielding funding offers north of $10 billion just over a week after launch.
We're decoding: Is Jev a genuinely new category of AI - a faster, cheaper layer sitting underneath the chatbots - or is this hype-cycle enthusiasm for something that's really just a narrow classifier with good marketing?
