Long Time Investor: From SaaS to Grass
High NY is the largest cannabis industry networking event in New York. Join us for a lecture style event with amazing speakers plus a great networking community. No cannabis consumption is allowed at our events, due to New York State law...we hope this will change!
Our February 2017 speaker will be Jeanne M. Sullivan, founding team of NY Angels (the predecessor for High NY's inspiration: New York Tech Meetup) and Venture Capitalist. Jeanne is passionate about delivering ideas information and inspiration to young people of all ages. Jeanne is a Co-Founder of StarVest Partners, a NY City-based venture capital firm, which was created in 1998 and raised $400 million, investing in technology enabled business services companies. Prior to her venture experience, Jeanne gained her operating experience with AT&T and Bell Labs while serving in product and industry marketing roles.
Over the past 20 years as a founding principal of StarVest and previously with Olivetti Ventures, Ms. Sullivan has served on the board of multiple technology companies and has extensive experience creating go to market plans for growth and expansion stage companies. Her expertise also includes strategy, an understanding of the tech landscape and industry trends.
Jeanne has shifted her focus from Tech to cannabis and is working on multiple, fascinating projects. Come to our event to find out what they are, and hear her incredible experience!
