No region is changing faster-or has more to teach the world about climate resilience-than the Arctic. During the 2025 NYC Climate Week, UArctic, Dartmouth, & the Consulate General of Finland in New York will co-convene Arctic Indigenous & non-Indigenous leaders, scholars, & innovators to show how the North is driving climate solutions, innovations, & financial models the world needs now. Two expert panels will make the case.
The first will spotlight bold, on-the-ground climate innovations already strengthening communities across the Arctic. The second will reveal the green finance & policy tools Arctic interests are using to unlock sustainable, thriving Arctic economies that invest first in the well-being of Arctic Peoples & their lands, waters, & communities. Together, these conversations will offer a blueprint for urgent, equitable climate action in the Arctic & beyond.
