TOPIC:The ABCs of Building a Data Culture
As product managers & builders, the importance of data, both qualitative & quantitative, is never lost upon us. Simultaneously, the challenge we often face is that our products aren't built in a vacuum. Making data-driven decisions often means getting input & commitment from all levels of an organization to actually make data-driven decisions.
How do you transform organizations to think data-first, & build a data culture, especially in creative-heavy fields like media? In this talk, Prerna will focus on her experience leading product teams at various media companies, the importance of establishing data literacy organizationally, & how to use design thinking & user research techniques to empower organizations to embrace this culture.
